yeah, that would be interesting and also which truck/engine they are using it in....the older IDI motors were more tolerant of using cold vegi oil but the newer motors wouldn't handle that long. Blending vegi with diesel isn't something i would condone but it really depends on the engine.
I blend diesel and vegi in my little diesel tractor and it likes it just fine but I wouldn't do that with my 6.0 liter PSD.

Straight vegetable oil works somewhat ok in older model diesel engines with low pressure injector systems but can quickly destroy the newer diesel engines that use high pressure injector pumps.
Better to go with biodiesel so you don't clog your injectors with unburnt glycerin or blow an IP pump because of the high viscosity.
