WVO Or Bio-D

I'm no expert but just from what I read, I think most of his problem came from what ever destroyed the first turbo. What ever it was and however long it was left unchecked to get there probably did it. You can see where debris made marks on the head and stuff as it past through. If he had blowby that bad, engine oil can gum up stuff something aweful. If you have ever seen an engine with blowby from a leaky cylinder head into the area below the intake where the pushrods are(chevy in my experience) it can be hard nasty stuff. But noone will know for sure unless they would have scrapped it off the valves and sent the crap in for analasys(sp)

I've been looking at the Frybrid kit for my 04, once the warranty is out on it. My only concern is, I need the WVO tank to go under the bed of the truck, since I have a slide in camper, and need all the room in the bed of the truck.. Are there any options for this? Even if I had to take out my spare tire, and keep it elsewhere, like in the bed of the truck when the camper is not in, or in the camper when the camper is on the truck, that would be fine.

Bio-d will have cost involved too...as much as 1.50 per gallon actually. Meth is up to 5 bucks a gallon and you need 20 percent meth to 80% vegi oil so in a 50 gallon batch you are going to have 10 gallons of Methanol... thats 50 bucks right there.
With straight vegi oil, after you buy the conversion, theres nothing more to buy except filters and they are cheap relatively. I would estimate it cost me less than a nickle a gal. to filter vegi oil. And I can process 50 gallons with as little as 30 minutes of my time...you will spend more than that processing Bio-d i promiss you.

There was a guy on another forum that lives in Phoenix where the temps stay above 100 degrees in the summer... he poured WVO straight into his fuel tank.
Everything was fine until it cooled off, his truck was DOA. He drained the WVO, heated everything back up filled it with diesel, changed the filters and eventually got it started back up.
While he was running WVO, he praised it alot. After the WVO thickened up on him and since cleaning it out... he has had no evident lasting damage. He intends upon trying the WVO again when the temperatures get back up.
On the other hand I have tried bio-diesel and have had a few problems.
