Default Algae in diesel this winter
I was wondering if anyone has had algae in thier fuel this winter? My nieghbor and one of my buddies have had algae in the fuel this winter.

Not this winter, but in 06 I did, tell them to get some Raycore Biocide. It barely takes any to treat a tank, less than 1/4 ounce for a tank and you will never have any problem with it again.

He bought this stuff that was $48 a gallon I dont remember what he called it

Dang, not sure what that is but Raycore biocide was like $12ish for a quart. I am not sure if you can even buy it by the gallon though.

$12 per qt x 4 qt (which equals gallon)=$48

I know that the math works out, I just stated that I did not know if they sold it by the gallon.
