20-50% blends of biodiesel is everything I own for 8yrs now. 190k miles on a 6.0L drinking it straight 90% of the time.
Suggest anyone using an over the counter additive try swapping it out for a low blend [5-20%] of biodiesel and report back. Ctane of B100 [pure biodiesel] is typically in the 50+ range, lubrication is many times better than ULSD. Since it cost no more than regular diesel, it makes a great performance additive you can blend to your liking for cheap.
Just don't exceed 50% or performance falls off due to 10k lower BTU's.
