FP Changing Sporadically At Idle

Talked to a guy from pure flow, he said that the duramax pumps are supposed to be at 12psi at idle.
But it shouldn't drop all the way down to 1 psi under WOT you can adjust the pressure by adding washers to the return line spring and making sure the ball bearing makes a solid seal so when it does make 12psi it regulates automatically and keeps pressure constant
