How crappy will single shot injectors run without the custom tuning? Or will the motor even start? I see the custom 6 pos. chips take a couple weeks to get even if theyre on time and would do the injectors and turbo as soon as I got them if I could.

 

It will run lopey and the throttle will be very touchy. Looking at your truck in your avitar I would avoid installing the injectors until you have the chip. Chip should not take more then a few days to get...

I just replaced my injector cups as a precautionary measure and installed my 250/100 injectors. Also upgraded fuel system w/RR and RR Billet plenums.
I was hoping to have my PHP custom tunes by now, but they are not quite here. I need to get to work as this is my only vehicle.

Can I drive easy for a couple days just to get to/from work? I do not want to risk messing anything up, but need my truck. Thanks for any input.

 

You will be fine. Just remember it will run a bit rough...

I figured so, just wanted to make sure. I will take it easy and I should be able to get my custom tunes from Bill in the next few days. I will just run the chip on stock till then.
