I have the a TS chip with tunes from KT. They are canned tunes based on your truck year and trans. I'm running their high idle, 50hp, 75hp, 100hp, and 140hp tunes in an e99 with a 6spd. I typically stay in the 100hp tune, there's is little to no smoke and the truck pulls smooth. There's a little on/off throttle jerking, but I also did the 140 volt mod just prior to the chip and started to notice the jerking then. Seems like the chip increased it some. I've had the chip for a few months and haven't had an issue with it.

KT Performance has PHP tunes, and personally I love them, pedal feels great not too touchy, transmission tuning is amazing, I'm goin with PHP after my rebuild, and you can control the smoke even in the extreme setting, cleans up with a slight haze at WOT which I really like.

I don't think you can go wrong with PHP, Tony Wildman, or Beans.
