Only 1 TS chip... All custom tuners order up these TS chips (with the exception of a few tuners) and then burn their custom tunes on it. TS Performance also sells their chips with tunes on them which are what are referred to as "canned" tunes because they are very generic.

So whether you order a chip from Tony Wildman or Swamps, the chip is going to look the same but the tunes will be different from each custom tuner.

ok but what makes the tunes different from each tuner , because the "canned" tunes my friend has are high idol extreme140hp, daily120hp, tow100hp, no start, and valet and i looked at the tunes tryant does and they are the same options.

It's how they write the tunes. It's the shift points, its the fuel, timing, what oil is commanded when... All these things that make up custom tunes.

ohh alright i get it now, so basicly its all pretty much the same horsepower but the way each custom tuner gets it is what makes them all different.

Eh. Some tuners call their tunes "100hp" or "140hp" because that is roughly what it is, but the numbers will vary a little depending on what supporting tunes you have and what not.

They did a Diesel Power article a while back and had the same truck but used a couple different chips on it custom tuned for it. The numbers varied by maybe 30hp between the three. So they are fairly similar but each tuner has different ways of doing it.

My guess is that those aren't custom tunes, but instead canned tunes (pretty generic)
