I want my 7.3 louder what exhaust do I put on it please help?

No muffler! Get the turbo back! Straight pipe that thing, if you want noise!

turbo back means the exhaust from the turbo BACK like to the exhaust tip is 4" you can only fit a 4" downpipe in there unless you feel like hacking away some firewall, straight pipe is well just straight pipe nothing to quiet the sound, cat back is from the catalytic converter, you want exhaust from the turbo back

4 inch straight that 90 in front of the rear tire.. when your standing in it . it will sound like its loping when idleing

Am I reading this wrong or are you saying that i need to hack my firewall for a 4" downpipe?

4" down pipe fits fine. Any bigger and you would have to mess with the fire wall... This is on a superduty, on a OBS, 3" is all you will fit.

yup i have a 4" down pipe on mine and it fits no problem.

yeah anything PAST 4" downpipe you will have to end up cutting up firewall, a 4" downpipe will fit just fine
