Default Gapless rings?

anyone heard much about them? i know they say it'll cut down on blow by and increase hp & tq, etc.... but any real world data with them?

I would not on anything but a race only motor... No real world long term testing with them...

ok thats what i was curious about, last thing i want to do is tear this damn thing back apart when i'm finished ha, is getting the tops of the pistons ceramic coated and the sides teflon coated worth the money??

Yes... Ceramic coated for sure... I dont know much about the teflon coating...

Also have the bowls reworked taking the edge off...

Your taking the edge off of the piston fuel bowl, thats where your cracks always start.

Rounding it out... I would have to do some digging to find some pictures.

He is talking about rings with no gap. All rings should be checked for gap and filed to fit if your doing it right.

they don't have a gap and aren't suppose to, Wide Open has them along with a few other companies
