A friend bought a garrett turbo for his 7.3 but I cannot find a GT# on it and he is afraid to put it on if it isn't right for his application.

It was a performance turbo off another 7.3.

The part # I have is:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it will not fit the pedistal its not the right one. There is only two turbos Garrett makes to fit the PSD... the tp-38 and the GTP-38r...

 

not all garretts are "GT"
GT is just the newer style

i sereched the number you gave with no results..

do you have any pictures?

 

I saw your post from a year ago and I was wondering how the Turbonetics is holding up. My turbo's tired (two OHs) and I want a solid one. I tow a 33' 5er.
