it was the seperator, but he said he could fix it but my truck would be down for a few days on account of how busy he is right now, so i will just wait to get it fixed and done with

yea and when i fill up sometimes it says that i have 999 miles to empty. i dont think i can go quite that far

A little education on the lie-o-meter and why it's inaccurate the second you tune the truck.

It uses the TPS (throttle position sensor) to help it gauge how much fuel the truck is using.

At 50% TPS on stock tuning your PW is Xms @ XXXX ICP.

With a tune, your PW will be wider, and your ICP will possibly be higher as well. Resulting in more fuel injected at the same 50% TPS.

You however, are now using less actual throttle travel to drive around, since you have more power availible. So, the lie-o-meter starts living up to it's name.

The reason your lie-o-meter told you that you were gettin worse milage with PHP tunes than you were with the sniper tuning, is probably because Bill has one of the nicest pedals to daily drive that you can ask for. So, the TPS isn't lying to the trip computer quite so much.

I bet your throttle was more touchy with sniper tuning than it is with the PHP, right?

There was a huge difference on my lie-o-meter when I switched from DP tuning (super touchy pedal), to PHP tunes (almost stock pedal).
