Default tunes

i just bought a 6 pos. chip and was wondering who has the best tunes for my 03 7.3? i loved my sniper tuning but i want to be able to go from mild to wild in just a turn of a **** and not after sitting there for 5 minutes changing tunes

Best??? Your going to get a million differant answers on that one.

I like Swamps, Beans, Power Hungry Performance, Gear Head Performance, Diesel Innovations, Tony Wild man... Those would be my top 6 picks in no order...

ive heard alot of talk bout tony wild man, is his tunes and options better than php?

... I ran tonys tunes for a bit and they were good... I did not like the shifting, but Tony worked with me, and I have a very dificult valve body to tune around...

I can not say anything bad about the companys I mentioned above.

i have PHP right now and i like them so far, gas mileage isn't the best though? i was getting 21 on the highway with my custom tunes with my sniper forces stuff and now i'm only getting around 19

and your looking at going with a different company with different tunes already? who you looking at going with? i heard that tony does a great job, thats why im doing all this checking around.

how much does it usually cost to have chips reburnt? just asking so when i order mine and i dont like the tunes i could have it reburnt.

yeah, usually around like 150 bucks give or take, i'm gonna give it about 5 more tanks of fuel and if doesn't get any better i'm gonna change and go from there

I am not saying your not getting those numbers... but... well, there is no way your getting 21 ever.

I know of one truck in the country getting 24mpg... Its a lowered 2wd single cab, with 3.55 gears, and a bunch of really goofy looking fairings on it...

With a CC truck such as yours weighing about 7800#'s, it is not going to happen.

How are you coming up with your milage numbers?
