You can do it cab on, have to rock the motor in the frame a bit, but its not bad...

Ok, one last question for tonight atleast. Do you recommend changing the head gaskets while I do the head studs? If so, what brand, material?

NO!!!

Leave the factory head gaskets right where they have been for the last 100k! They are WELL seated and sealed and you would only have more issues removing them.

Stock gaskets and studs will hold 60psi, way more then you will be making at the 500-600hp range anyway.
