Default intake best for towing?

Still learning this diesel stuff and need a little help. I have early '99 f350 PSD still with the stock intake box that I plan on ditching but what to replace it with. I tow a big gooseneck horse trailer and encounter alot of hills where I live. Need more hp but still good filtration. I like k&n but recently heard about ford's severe duty filter & box. Which do you guys think would be better for what I use the truck for? I greatly appreciate any & all opinions.

The ford severe duty is good, but you could do a tymar style cheaper with good filtration if you don`t mind hearing more turbo.

We like the open element AFE ProDry's and for a sealed system we like the S&B
