Default Alright Boys And Girls

I want a shout out on how many miles you have seen on a Stroker. I have 117,000 on mine with only a cam sensor. I have worked on dozens over 500,000 with nothing but a few trannys. The most I have worked on personally is 785,000 with one set of injectors and 3 trannys. I've heard of 1,000,000 plus but havent personally seen any. How about you?

Default Powerstroke miles

I've seen a couple of non-turbo 7.3's and powerstroke 7.3's with over 300k on them. My work truck, an 04 6.0 has 110K on it. The list of parts replaced is way too long so I won't get into it. It has also had a new motor besides all of the parts replaced.

Default Funny thing

I have a friend that has 3 6.0's. 2 of them are '03s and one is a KR '05. All of them are 200,000+ and one of them has had an EGR. Thats it.

Default 6.0 PSD Miles

We have 2 04's and 2 05's with 16' cube/dry boxes and all of them have had the same problems. Total we have gone thru about 5 or 6 turbos maybe more, at least 4 or 5 sets of heads, a couple with new crossover pipes, 3 out of 4 trucks have had new injectors, also Ford has put new head gaskets in every one of these trucks on more than one occasion. My truck lasted about 10k before the first set of gaskets went in it. None of these 4 trucks have over 110k on them! At most we might gross 15k, so you really can't blame it on too much weight. At this point I am not the least bit impressed with a 6.0 PSD!

Default Yeah

I've heard stories of 6.0's like that. Alot of times they get towed to us after other dealers cant figure them out. We are kind of the go to Ford diesel dealer around here. The engineers send them to us from other dealers. 75% of what you are explaining to me from our experience is mis diagnosis and poor workmanship. I would actually look into a different dealer.

Were I use to work at we had 4 Ford Coaches that ran people from the airport to our hotel. One of them had 327,000 miles on it and I could not keep it running to save my life. Another had 215,000 miles on it but for some reason loved to kill injectors. The newest had 105,000 on it when I got layed off and it had electrical gremlins from hell in it. Motor never had a problem though. My favorite one to work on was the 94 IDI non turbo. I replaced both batteries, starter, and hole glow plug system and it ran great. That one had 415,000 miles and ran like a top. It puked the factory trans at 395,000 miles. I'm a big fan of the old IDI's, they are not powerful but it never let me down. Whenever one of the others would break down I would run the 94 out and get them and pick up the other coach.
