i have a 99 f250 7.3 it will not start cold or hot... when i got the truck it had a rough idle so i started to test it on the snap on scanner had no luck untill it died on me one nigh just shut off like i turned the key off at 55. so i pulled the codes up and icp came up and replaced it with ford oem and ran but still had a knowdisable rough idle to it so i pulled the injectors and did all the o rings and i did both valve cover gaskets and wiring, got it back runing so i went for a test drive and about 15 min in to it heading home the truck started to die like i was hiting the pedle off and on but wasnt then few min latter it died this was 4 days ago since then i started to talk and read about problems so i replaced irp fuel pump on frame rail also when it died i had a cam code so replaced it with ford oem part and nothing last time it was on the snap on scanner the icp was reading fine and hpop pressure was bouncing 480 to 530 while idleing i have not had it hooked back up yet i will friday in 2 days i can not figure out what else could be wrong this thang will crank for ever and not do a thang any help before i throw any more money at it and parts

 

Cam position sensor you try that

 

I have seen a shorted sensor cause no start or hard start/rough run issues. Start my un plugging any of the sensors that have a 5v reference. Ebp, map, ect
