Default Oil normal or synthetic

Ok, question for everyone. I hear a lot of talk about the value of synthetic over standard oil. I also hear people swear by additives like lucas oil, oil stabilizer and so forth. Just wanting to hear everyone's thoughts. I myself haven't used anything other than standard oil and replacing the filters but I'm all for extending the life of my 7.3 so if I hear some good info it might sway my opinion just a bit. Floor is yours guys.... (and gals)

I only run synthetic in all of my vehicles, including my 7.3.

I have ran synthetic in my 7.3 but isn't worth it. You can go a little longer on oil changes but not long enough to justify the extra cost. The hpop is just to hard on the oil. If you want to run it scheaffers is by far the best synthetic oil out there.

Extended oil changes in a powerstroke is a stupid idea. Don't waste your money on a bypass filter setup
