If you cant afford a chip yet its a cheap mod that works

 

bought truck a week ago and found it has a banks trans command. and also has ts 6 pos switch with a broken ****. found a good **** but bad plug. can you splice the two together or would it be best to have a whole new cable and switch?

 

It works but your trans is not being retuned for the extra power and could cause problems there and your cutting your wiring harness so you have the potential for water and whatnot to get into the wires and corrode them and cause problems there. It is not worth it to do it, save your money and get a custom tuned chip
