Default engine swap

Is there any reason why I wouldnt be able to swap the engine out of a 97 1 ton with a manual tranny into my 97 F-250 thats automatic? I blew up my F-250 stroker a couple weeks ago and bought an F-350 for the engine, if there is no reason why I cant do this then I will have alot of good obs 1 ton parts for sale.

I would snake the front axle too...

You will need to change the computer if your swapping trannys, if not its just a direct swap.
