Default What Clutch and Gauge Combo Do Y'all Suggest?

I might be buying my first truck pretty soon and I want more juice out of it, so I know I will need gauges to make sure nothing gets messed up. The candidate truck is a 96 F-250 diesel running with a 2wd manual. After front end realignment, beefier tires, and a few interior accessories, power is my concern. I want a ts 6 position chip, upgraded clutch, gauges, straight piped exhaust, AFE intake system and filter, and possibly injectors down the road. I won't be going over the 70 hp setting, but I do not know what type of clutch or gauge combination to go with. I am thinking EGT, Turbo Boost, and trans temp on the a-pillar. I think I need a couple more, but don't know what else is needed. Will that setup work? Anybody know? What else? Fuel pressure? Air pressure or temp? Also, what brand of clutch do you guys recommend?

You don't need a trans temp gauge with the manual...

I would just do boost and EGT's... EGT's is the priority gauge, the rest are just informational.

For the clutch, a valair or south bend will do the truck.

Alright, sounds pretty simple. Out of valair and south bend, which is easier to push in? I will be doing some road trips and I would like to save some leg sore. If one is more reliable than the other, I can sacrifice some comfort for it. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention down pipe will be in the picture to.

Idk which one is easier... You would have to call and talk to them about it... I run an automatic trans... I let it shift for me...

Sadly, the owner of the truck backed out because he forgot that he promised the truck to his son. Looks like the truck search is on yet again. Going to hit a few auctions soon though. Looks like me and dad are going road tripping. I have been to several auctions before, but this will be my first farm or auto auction.
