We all know that the oil pan on the 7.3 is a very thin and deep drawn pan, that is exposed to water and road salt and very prone to rusting and forming pin hole leaks.

A typical quote to replace the oil pan on this truck is $1400-$2000 because of the labor involved in pulling the motor out of the truck, or minimally lifting the cab to allow clearance.
