Default air intake setup with spectra filter

here is the layout pieces for my cold air system, right now its built using 3in pvc piping
this is just the mock up this design will be bent out of 3 1/2in aluminum when everything comes in to complete, i will say however the power gains even with the pvc is amazing at full throttle you can not hear the engine over the sound of suction and the turbo through the intake
i have never heard anything like it

in building this system i was able to still install my blow-by tube, and the air restriction gauge
the filter that is on it is a spectre hrp that flows 1100 cfm, picked it up at autozone for $32 bucks i will be using the same filter on the finished product, the only diffrence between this mock up and the finished product will be the filter location im going to move the filter 1.5in further into the fender (where the battery oem location was) and adding a box around the filter with a plexiglass top, i have already cut a 3in x 6in hole (roughly) out of the bottom side of the radiator support under where the marker light is located for my fresh air inlet tube which i made out of the factory plastic air intake part that ran from the box to the top of the radiator support (note that in doing this i had to also cut he trim piece that runs between the bumper and headlight assembly) i guess in shot kinda makes it a ram air system also
i will post pics when the project is done
let me know what you think about it so far
