165 for my z series autometer pyro. This is an area you don't want to be cheap. If you can't afford the pyro, you can't afford a rebuild so don't touch.

as far as the "torque screw" it actually is a high rpm fuel adjustment so it adjust how much fuel you put in on the top in

No, it spits fuel at low rpm. The design is to clean up the exhaust at takeoff but allow for faster spool if turned up where it is supposed to be . The allen screw on the side under the plate runs fuel across the powerband.

good lord with fuel prices the way they are I keep my foot out of it as much as posible, but if your gonna turn the pump up keep an eye on it, got mine way hot on the way home from the shop after getting my new pump and inj installed it happens quick.

exhaust gas temperature. the more fuel you try and burn the hotter your engine will get and without a turbo to push cool air through your engine will get HOT fast if you let it smoke for any given period of time. its more or less insurence so you can get your right foot off the pedal and let your engine cool down. and your truck is real easy to turn the ump up on. just dont go nutz

Yes it does gain you something, you light the turbo faster. I personally have mine set to achieve 10-11lbs of boost (don't trust stock head bolts) and I have full boost before 1000 rpm.
