just turn your pump up.it wont burn it out any time soon.i didnt put a pyrometer in and its fine.blows black smoke when i lug it down but if you shift right and dont drive like a retard you wont hav to worry bout it smoking out an intersection

thanks for everyone who thinks its all about black smokin it aint i was just curious because everyone says somethin different im not here to kill the atmosphere i jus wanna have a good time in my old oil burner

We've all been there... Smoke is cool once in a while but you need to roll coal responsibly.

It wouldn't hurt to at least have an EGT gauge if you're increasing fuel. I'd hate to have you burn it up when it could have been prevented by a little common sense.

i didnt go much on mine. i had it up all the way and at an idle it was puffin.so i turned it down but when i romp on it it rolls coal

The BEST investment you could make on any diesel. It could prevent a lot of more fuel more heat especialy on ur guyzes idi

so is messing with the tourque screw gain you anything (the one with the jam nut) not the allen inside the pump ive been tuning up some idis just wondering i dont want curiosity to kill the idi or do i

EGT=Exhaust Gas Tempature otherwise know as a pyrometer

haha well i know the pyrometer just hadn't heard of it being called a egt gauge.. well **** i was hopin for a new gauge to add to the collection..
