ok question for my 6.9 idi boyz im puttin head studs on my truck what is the highest psi i can run my turbo until i need to invest in my bottom end i already know im going to need a intercooler but id like to know the best to run my turbo at cause im going to have a home made cold air and i know the more you crank your fuel up the more psi ur turbo is going to force in and the way im runin right now id be pushin 15 psi, also i dont have the turbo on yet im just trying to figure this all out before i just say **** it and whatever the turbo pushes it pushes ill just beat it and wait for the head to go through the hood.

about 15 to 20 psi i would say i think i might be wrong though

I would say around 16-18 would be just fine

well head studs are on the way next is to look at buildin my bottom end

ya for sure for sure by golly you dont want to be blowin out that bottom end cause it will cost you a pretty penny

cheapest i found is summit raceing has them for 255.00 with shiping for the arp pro series

i got a qoute from a vendor here. 600 for studs, and all the gaskets from heads up. not to bad since headgaskets are expensive.


16-18 is max. any more and compression will need to be lowered.
