keep in mind ATS was the company that was contracted and made all of the factory idi turbo trucks. i would put my money on their kit. plus if ever in a pinch you can buy replacement parts, seals etc... from ford giving them a 93-94 turbo idi application. but also the ATS kit will run better and boost better than the factory turbo's because ford choked them down, which ats sells the upgrade kit as well for factory ones.

I bought an ATS turbo 2000 kit and everything needed to go on my 7.3 for $2600. Thats everything from the intake to turbo to tail pipe... along with boost gauge and pyro gauge.

did the ats kit come with everything, or did you have to piece anything together? Was it all worth the money?

the ats kit is complete, they will package deal exhaust and guage stuff. but as far as the turbo kit it has everything needed. almost all of the kit is the same stuff you would find on the factory turbo trucks. only difference is a couple updated parts. mainly a better turbo.

ive been looking into install a turbo kit and been leaning to the ATS kit, just cause of the fact that the factory used them. Plus its the Aurora 2000

Well my turbo from ATS is on and running, what a great kit! Everything fit like it should and with out question I would say it was worth every cent... I have yet to pull a load yet but it feels like a new truck!

Ballpark figure, about how much did it cost to get ATS up and running? That seems to be the major deciding factor right now. Also, do they help with the fuel mileage any?
