Turbo Kits
 

What's the best bang for your buck when choosing a turbo kit? I'm looking for more reliability than for a dragster. Should there be any mods done to the lower end, or is that really that neccesary.

ATS, Banks, or Hypermax.......Banks has the most complete kit......

i agree, banks has the most complete kit, but i have the ATS kitd on mine, haven't had a prob at all, and makes all the difference in the world :rocking:

We were told last week by banks that they no longer have a IDI kit.

what all does the ats kit come with

that hypermax kit looks like a good one, but i wonder if you lose anything with the long exhaust pipes between the manifolds and the turbo?

Don't know, I have no personal experience with any of them. The ATS is the best flowing charger of any of them though.

i wouldnt buy anything ATS.......go with the Hyper......I mean they are the people that build the first 9 second diesel and the highest horsepower IDI EVER.........

If i'm just looking to get some decent gains with a turbo kit, what other type of upgrades do I need to be getting ready for to make it worth while, i.e. Injectors? Pistons? Cams?
