So am i understanding you right, when yer running yer exhaust brake its making higher pressure than from taking off? Im young and dumb and trying to learn how all this works!

If you have a black maxx or mini maxx you can actually watch your pressures. Unsure of other programmers so I cannot say. If you have h&s, set the values so you can see boost and ebp. You can watch the ebp spike one the high 70's when towing downhill on the exhaust brake pretty hard.

EPB yer saying stands for exhaust brake pressure? I cant find anywhere on my mini maxx that i can watch that. So just to make sure im getting what yer waste gating, its keeping the exhaust pressure from getting to high? Great detail in yer thread man!

Go into your mini maxx options to gauge setup. I run my top gauge at coolant temp, the second one at ebp, the third at boost and fourth on pyro. The ebp is the amount of psi the exhaust brake is placing on the components before the turbo on the exhaust side.

Thanks for the compliments man. I tried to make it as easy as I could to follow to ensure pretty much anyone could make one themselves and save quite a bit of coin. I know of one company selling an external wastegate for these rigs and its some electronic controlled pos that costs an arm and a leg and blows off like ****. Just my bias opinions though so ....
