friend of mine has 09 3500.wants to do egr delete kit.not to familiar with the 6.7s.what kits are better then others,do you need programmer once you do install,etc.any input would be great thanks.

 

The kits are pretty much the same because basicly they are just blocker plates to cover the holes left by the removal. You definately need a programer if you delete the egr. Make sure you live in a state that doesn't emission test before you do any mods. He might look into doing the dpf and cat deletes as well. You can buy pipes to replace the removed parts that are fairly cheap and not too hard to install. The improvement is really evident when your done. Hope that helps.
