Yah i knew that it is illegal to remove it. that aint never stopped me before. i'm all bout mods. i'm just curious on how much they are gonna let us get away with. thanks for the input. i'll take anything i can get. i'm pretty ignorant about the new 6.7s, mainly the emissions on them.

this is great news. I have a customer that we are going to do the BADP kit and EGR delete. He does nothing but bi@tch and moan about the mileage his is getting. he will be doing back flips when he gets this news.

I have done tons of research on the BADP kit and it sounds like they are far from perfecting it. It is still throwing codes continuously...

I want a kit that allows me to remove both the cat and the DPF and does NOT throw codes. Everyone I have read about has to have an Edge to clear the codes on startup...this will also remove any valid codes that I may need for service or warranty work. To me this is not the answer. I can just torch it all off right now and buy the Edge to clear the codes, so why pay for the kit?

I think they will get there, and hopefully soon!

I'm not sure but I believe with the delete kit it throws soft codes & without it you would get a hard code. IIRC the soft code is more like a warning & a hard code will put you in limp. I'm not 100% sure of this info but that is the way I interputed it.

i talked to h & s performance and they said that they were very close to having a plug and play harness that would keep the computer from throwing codes. til then they said the best bet is to use the juice with an attitude. they are actually selling there delete kit in a package with the module if you prefer to buy it that way.

Funny, I know a good friend who is an RV shuttler that put on the 5" kit and the fooler. No codes to speak of and he doesn't run a box of any sort, still stock. His MPG towing has jumped 5 points minimum. His first trip has paid for the entire kit. He is reporting his mileage to be better than his 5.9 previously doing the same stretches of road.

If it were me, I would do that kit in a heartbeat.

The package was sent to him as a Beta test unit and I have not been able to get that information just yet. Sounds similar to the H&S kit with a black box to plug all your sensors into.
