Which 6.7 Bombs?????
So I am going to pick up my next cummins this weekend. Its an '07 with G56. Im planning on DPF delete, EGR delete, intake manifold, air intake, Mini Maxx, and 4 inch exhaust. Is a wastegate something i should consider too? Also was thinking of putting water/meth on to help mpg and clean out the motor of all that soot. Anyone got anything else i should consider?

I did several flow improvements from the intercooler to the engine intake. I started with a boost tube upgrade, it is larger diameter than stock, next was the throttle valve delete. In the throttle valve delete was located my grid heater. The stock grid heater location is restrictive, and it is less restrictive in the throttle valve location. I did not buy an intake, I just took a cone stone and ported it. I opened up the outlet side where the grid heater used to be. I also used a manifold on top of the head, the aftermarket manifold is smoother inside, and slightly higher , for more flow.
This whole system is too small for this size of engine, and there are replacement parts for all of it.

The drive pressures are not lifting the heads but high drive pressure is a sign of high cylinder pressure which do cause blown head gaskets. IMO wastegates are not worth it they are more of a band-aid to hide the problem but not fix it. I blew my last gasket with a silver bullet, wastegate, 625 studs, and the blackmaxx/mp8 stack. anyhow just my .02 there are better things to spend your money on than egw (unless your using it to tune twins)
