i just thought of something else when i was reading the instructions to mine and you can put the throwout bearing in a right and a wrong way and i think they said it would make a squeal if it was put in wrong that would be something to check

there is no wrong way to put a throw out bearing in.if u put it backwards it will grind like hell and your pressure plate would be gone down the drain.if u look at a throw out bearing one side spins bearing side, the other is where the fork holds on too.know if your thinking pilot bearing in fly wheel thats a different story.mine came installed on flywheel when i recieved it.
im talking about the throwout bearing (not puting it in backwards) i think its the wrong side of the arm that it hooks too u can put it on wrong and it will go together but make noise read the instructions they say to make sure you put it on the right side
how much towing can a south bend single disc handle.had my trailer hooked up with 17,500 pounds on it and it would not grab in first gear, kept bucking like a dam mule.once it got going it was ok.it was only on the dead stops it would do this.even if i tried feathering it even with gas it did it.i didnt want to launch it.cause i know it wouldnt hang.any body else having this problem
i pulled 20k quite a bit with my single and what i found if you try to give it throttle a bit taking off it would buck so i started just letting it idle off and i have to do the same with my dd i just ease off the clutch at idle till clutch is engaged and its fine it seems anytime you try to let out even a little fast it does it
