just bought a 2008 6.7 cummins, already had a leveling kit rims and tires. I installed a cold air intake smarty jr 4'' turbo back straight pipe and the egr and dpf delete. I still cant get the smoke i was expecting, (like my 02 5.9). Does anyone know how to intall the smoke switch i keep hearing about?

 

Don't even bother with it man. You my even turn on a CEL doing that. If you really want more smoke then do more performance upgrades. Atleast then you would smoke because you have some power. Not smoking out a whole city block is not always a bad thing.

 

ya i hear ya... your rite but i dont have much money left and still want the smoke saw the smoke switch on youtube and liked what i saw just thought it would be a cheap alternative

gotta question for you how do i dpf delete with out hurting the motor

 

you can use 5.9 performance exhaust with at tuner it should work and it will help the motor not hurt it

 

can someone explain the smoke switch to me im just curious as to how it works and if it is a product or just tuning???

 

its fooling the map sensor allowing to dump un needed fuel causeing the smoke i had one on my truck with no issues for about a yr
