Default H&S Blackmaxx question

Ever since i put my blackmaxx in, my radio reception went right to crap. At first i thought it was in my head but if i shut the truck off and continue to listen to the radio as soon as the blackmaxx screen shuts off, the radio is crystal clear. It is installed exactly as H&S says. Anyone have the same problem? Absolutely love everything else about the blackmaxx.

Were is your power wire ran, and how did you run it there, it could be a posibility that wire is to close to another wire causing interference, i have seen it with cb radios but not really a stock stereo, you maybe could try putting the plastic wireloom over the powerwire to see if that helps.

Not all of them came with the switch on the obdII plug, but I think all of the newer ones do now.

Did you tap the stero wire off the ignition? I ran a hot to the recommended junction in the fuse block, and keep my switch in the position where it is only on with the key. My stereo is an aftermarket kenwood cd/dvd/satalite unit. no noise, nothing. Check and make sure you tapped the right fuse.
