I have a 2008 6.7 dodge diesel. I have the smarty on it. I was wondering if someone had pictures and instructions on how to install a smoke switch. got the stuff to do it. Thanks. Im use to all my 5.9 diesels pouring the smoke out.

Well i searched and found some places that told me what to use. I went today and got the stuff. I put all of it on and it did nothing to my truck. If anyone knows anything. I would like to know.

why do all you people just want diesels to smoke? when you have a diesel that you can pull and really run and smoke very minimally i'll be impressed. smoke switches are pointless, stupid, and make us diesel guys look bad and will bring more emissions controls

If you still have your dpf and whatnot on there it won't smoke. I say spend your money els where and make it go faster with usable power. Then if your making 700 horses and it smokes a little then that's kinda ok.

Don't do smoke switches. Unless you don't want your engine to last, and want EGTs sky high.

Just a good way to throw codes and smoke without any go. I like smoke just as much as the next guy but you wont ever catch me putting some jacked up smoke switch in my truck just to get it to smoke, especially something as new and expensive as a 6.7! When I put the boost fooler in my truck and plugged the waste gate, it stopped smoking as much. But i'm fine with that because it gave me more power and it's running more efficient!

Save your money and get something worth while to put on your pickup.

I think its all preferance. I personally had a 11 second race truck that would smoke so much you couldnt see behind you. My 6.7 im not looking for 600 horse by any means but i would like it to throw a nice thick cloud when i feel like messing around. And yeah they might throw more emissions at us but we will always find a way around it and honestly without smoke why have a diesel!! It makes the world go round
