Default common rail heads

i am wondering if a 04.5-07 head will fit on the 6.7. it would be alot easier to find a ported head that way. i do believe that the fuel rail is a little different but i'm not sure?

i have been told from a few folks yes they are the same and from others that their not even similar... i dont understand why none of the aftermarket companies (haisley, scheid, stauffers) dont offer a ported/polished replacement head for the 6.7's. i believe the first comany to do that will make a ton of money

I heard that subscribing of course to run a 5.9 head/ injectors I think you would also have to have an ecm ,but I would love the chance to run 5.9 injectors in our trucks

I know the bolt patterns are the same just waterjackets and injectors that are different

Well, your 6.7L head already flows more - why go backwards?

Anything that can be modded on a 5.9CR head can also be done to a 6.7L...
