i know the temps that im hitting are not good but i can peg my 1600 gauge in prolly an 1/8 mile seems like to hot to quick to me thats running dry nothing even in the back high way driving 70-80mph about 6-800 constantly any advise would be great or how to drop the egts would be great all mods are in my sig thanks ahead of time

 

6-700 isn't bad cruising sounds like you need a bigger turbo brother

 

I would look into either a silver bullet or thunder 330, something around the 64/74/14 would probably cool you down quite a bit

my truck runs cooler with the smarty than what it use to with the edge juice. i just use the juice now for gauges.

 

dpf egr and throttle blade have been gone sense the truck had about 5k miles on it

so everyone thinks its not breathing enough if i do a turbo is there any other mods i will need to do inter cooler or anything like that what does the turbo up grade run cost wise and could i get another exhaust brake for it or would it just be gone thanks i already have the 5.9 manifold

 

what file version you running on your smarty(revo,tnt,22,23 etc), what sw level also. I take it you have a rail pressure box on your truck like the mp8, or power puck from reading your sig, that one kinda confused me. Also when you are getting these high egts are you smoking alot. Anytime you add alot of few to these trucks with the stock turbo you are going to get high egts, I have seen 2000*+ before. Pretty much you can get water meth injection to help cool a couple hundred degrees or like the others stated a bigger turbo would be the best thing.

 

when i got my truck new in 08 i bought a juice because there was nothing else out. i saw 1500 egts going down the road at 55mph while it was in regen. after i deleted the juice with badp stuff,still run hotter than i wanted. when they released the smarty i bought one. boy what a diff. 750 going down a level road. towing heavy with the rpm up around 2k it will hardly break a 1000 egt. the juice with lower tune was around 1250ish.

 

yes im running a diablo sport power puck smokes a little but not anytghing like when i lug itim running it on sw 2 right now but have been running it on sw9 when i plug the smarty in these are the numbers and such it says v:6.15c and D:p19me does that answer the question on the version if not let me know how to find it and i will look thanks for the opinions and help
