I will be looking forward to this with much anticipation....

A good kit needs to be code free, otherwise you may as well save the money and just cut it all off, the truck will still run fine!

No,,,, It will de rate. I have been there, done that. It isn't as bad as limp mode, but it still sucks. Enough to make me put the DPF back on and find another way.

Well heres the deal. You get code 244a and 2453 with the kit right now. You may get the Cat Full Message but it depends on a few factors if you get that. With all of that your engine will not de-rate or go into Limp Mode. What it will do if offset some settings where you will no see the full benefit of better MPG. You will average around 13 to 16 mpg with the codes. With the Code Free kit that BADP has been beta testing there truck went from a average of 14 to about 21 on the highway.

Whether or not if you get the Cat Full Message depends on what flash is on your truck and or if you are using a Down loader like the bully dog. IF you have AV flash or newer you will get the Cat Full Message. IF you have the AU and older you will not, but if you have the AU and the Power Pup WITH version Software 2.14 or 2.15 you will get the Cat full Message. IF you are running 2.13 on it along with the AU you will not get the Cat Full Message. Thats speaking for the 07.5. I an not sure but i think the 08's get the Cat full Message.

I hope this clears things up a bit.

There is a huge difference in sound from the 4" tbe to the 5" tbe on the 6.7. It sure does make a difference if you use Stainless Steel or Alumized Steel for the Exhaust. the 5"tbe SS has a much louder deep sound, much deeper than a 5.9. Pretty much that sound most people look for. Buts it not as loud as a 5.9
