can anybody tell me the difference in the mini maxx from the black maxx? and also would anyone recommend the smarty over the H&S products or vice versa? i was just curious cuz i have heard of some people having to go in and clear codes on the smarty like every 300-400 miles. which i drive in a day.

 

Mini Maxx is a smaller unit with a smaller screen. We have had great luck with both the Black Maxx and the Smarty but seem to have less issues with the Black Maxx.

 

thats what i was wondering, i have heard such good things about the H&S products and the customer service i was just wondering what kind of experience other people have had with them.

 

i have not had a issue with black max.

 

Both awesome tuners I have ran the XRT and currently run the Smarty on my truck (the smarty liked my truck a little better but gotta say the customer service from Casey and Bentley is top Notch. Not that Smarty is not but Casey and Bentley at H&S are a hard crew to beat when it comes to customer service

 

NEED HELP? just know where to go and cut through the sales hype

 

smarty has fixed those issues

 

I love both programmers I personally choose to run the blackmaxx because its got on the fly power level adjustment and guages built in ,but I love the smarty because you can fine tune your truck make it run just how you want it. and bob and marco, and casey and bentley both have excellent customer service I guess what I am saying is it all boils down to user preference I loved my smarty one day I will get another one ,but for now the blackmaxx will do until I get the rest of the mods I want done first
