Default DPF / FAP removal

if you have problems with DPF / FAP i can easily help you to remove it, it basically needs the ecu soft to be modified and it will no longer make problems. i know how a pain in the a*s can be

seems alot of guys with the smarty get the over head, it could be a few things, make sure your follow the instructions on what is hooked up and what is not hooked up. Pretty much every sensor comes off, and if you are worried about getting water, mud, etc into them rollin smoke diesel has connectors that plug into them. Its always best to make sure you have the newest up date with the smarty also. As for the guy with the edge, you are derated and in limp mode, if you pull any of the exhaust off with out a programmer to disable the emmissions you have to have the fooler sims plugged in and have the edge set to clear codes on start up. 99% of the time when you do go into limp mods you will have to go to the dealer to have them reset all he counts, etc to get it back to normal, but if not done proper then it will go back into limp mode.

Not trying to insult anybody but are the connectors that are unplugged capped off or "water proofed" some how. Just think that moisture or some other crap could be sorting them out.

you are not supposed to plug them they need air to operate correctly

it was prolly cause your truck was getting put into limp mode why u didnt notice a power difference and all the smoke cause its trying to clean the dpf just a question why did you leave your dpf if you try and fool it with the dpf in place i bet it will end up plugging up and your just going to lose power anyways i think ur best bet would be do the delete and egr and cooler delete and throttle valve delete i would bet your probs are the dpf just trying to clean it all the time and staying in limp mode let me know what you figure out
