Default Couple questions

I have kinda of asked this question before but im bout to make the move,

1st is anyone running the banks cold air intake with super scoop? And how do you like it and does it throw codes if i install it? I don't have a programmer. Also i do have big tires and so does the super scoop take um room in the front fender well area? Also does anyone have a front pic of the truck with this item installed?

Also now to programmers, everyone has there options but i need some good advice. Whats the best one to go with, the new black max, Smarty, Or XRT? Im going to do the cold air intake first but then the programmer. Im not trying to make a race truck just a few mods to get better mpg and a little more performance and a little more power when towing my cuda.

1 more question. Is anyone running the aero muffler on a 6.7? If so how do they like the sound and the overall performance of it? Because when i do the 5 inch i was thinking of putting the aero on for the sound and because it lowers egts.

Thanks alot

most guys are running the afe or s&b cold air. all those tuners you named are good. smarty is now power on demand too. black max has your gauges with it. the egts with smarty are low on my truck. i can tow heavy and hardly break a 1000. so i think a 5 inch with or without a normal flow thru muffler is perfect.

If you want the cold air scoop, you might want to check out Volant. Their scoop fits in the bumper opening, giving you true ram cold air.

S&B is also coming out with a scoop if it isn't already out. As far as programmers anything from H&S is the way to go. Just my.02

i have a banks cia with super scoop on my truck. it does not throw any codes. am having problems with my dpf at the present time and they are blaming it on the cai on my truck. talked to alot of people and everyone tells me not true. am thinking of a dpf delete kit just not sure what to go with. turbo spools up quicker and you can hrer it whistle. happy with it so far. had it on for about 4 months.
