ATTN 2009 6.7L Black Maxx customers:

It has come to our attention there was a glitch in the Black Maxx software on all 6.7L Dodge units shipped last week. This glitch ONLY affects 2009 model years with an automatic transmission. This glitch was due to a file encryption transfer on our main server that was not caught before a few units were shipped out on Thursday and Friday.

What to do if you have a 2009 with an automatic transmission DO NOT INSTALL the tuner before updating it online!
1.Delete the contents of the entire SD card that came with your Black Maxx tuner.
2.Go to H&S Performance then proceed to the download area. Download the latest software for the part # 72XXXXX5.
3.Unzip the file you downloaded using winzip, (NOT 7ZIP)
4.Copy/paste the file you unzipped onto your SD card. 5.Insert card into tuner and proceed with install.

This update will also fix any Black Maxx 6.7L customers with a cold-start kill condition that a few cold climate customers were experiencing. To update, simply follow the instructions located on the Black Maxx download page for Dodge Ram. Again, any questions don't hesitate to contact our tech dept for assistance.

Thank you for your help and understanding in this matter. This issue has been corrected and now has a second level of safeguard to prevent this from occurring in the future.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong but if you have a pmt couldn't you just download h&s program and have the same thing

 

I'm sure the PMT and the H&S run on different software platforms.
