You can update to the POD later.

SMARTY is THE most powerful programmer out for the 6.7's

Oh and you will probably need more then just studs to hold that head. Better look into some O-rings

your gonna need something to cool this thing off too, i would say water/meth but you should probably only run water as meth might cause problems

The S67ME will let you run an aftermarket turbo or twins. All you need to do is get a comprehensive list of mods to Marco and have him write tunes for you. With the Smarty, you can add the boost fooler to your list of things coming off the truck as well, as it's not needed.
A little birdy told me that POD is in the works and could possibly have a display available as well.
The only code I've had with the Smarty so far was a soft code for the egr control circuit. Marco is aware of it and has a patch fix in the works already. I reset it, and it hasn't come back. It didn't affect the way my truck runs though.
Not to take anything away from the XRT, as it has proven itself, but personally, I like the fine tuning ability I have with the Smarty. As was said before, it make the power and then some.

right now the smarty is at 170hp for the 6.7. the XRT already has the capability to get rid the the VGT turbo, EGR and DPF (smarty is only DPF and EGR until Marco works his magic). If you are on a time crunch then the XRT is the way to go. I would do Water/Meth. We did some numbers with a customers 08 long bed mega and with smarty on 7, rail on 2, timing 2, torque mgt 1, we were able to hit 1740 degrees in NO TIME. turned on the 3 stage snow mileage max and dropped nearly 300 degrees and shut down the road with the thing smoking like a darn freight train.

let me know if we can help ya with any parts.

once he has the Black Maxx he can upgrade to the Active Maxxx software that was way more adj. than the Smarty. Smarty is a great tuner, but I like supporting local people not some guy thats overseas! Smarty does have adj right know thats 200hp. But XRT is good way higher that that just a stardard turbo tune is 225....word is they can fuel it till you run out of EGT's or fuel(CP3...ect). POD will be avaliable but not for some time. All R&D is going into the Bootloader on the 09's. I HAVE had both programer on my truck SMARTY and XRT. So I know the positives and neg. of each. If I where you I would do the XRT. Casey is a great guy and best of all he stands behind his products, and he is our fellow country man.
