On the fly, for smarty?
So, How is it going to work? How do you do it? Does the smarty have to be plugged in always? Is there a screen you buy? And if it has to be pluggeed into the OBD data link thingy... That means I have to get rid of my edge ive been using for gauges..?
From your question about the PoD it's sounds like you don't know what it is in reality. You need no pic, just take a peek at your Smarty!
PoD stands for Power on Demand. We have released it for the 5.9L last year. It's an update software for the Smarty and allows the customer to reduce the power in any moment at will. In poor words, let's say you're on CaTCHER # 9. Now you plug in Smarty, enter the PoD menu and punch in any # from 0 to 99. 99 being full power of the SW. Around 40 you're back to stock power, less than 40 makes less power than stock. All that takes maybe 5 seconds from start to end and can be done any time the key is in the run position. ( Engine running or not doesn't matter )
YOU decide how much power you want your truck to make! In just seconds....
Kinda wonder if I can get a datalink like my edge has, lower profile with the cord coming out of the side instead of the top. Does smarty sell any mounting solutions or something?
