I just downloaded this file from MADS website in order to put the ME download in my truck.

the smarty uploaded does not like this file. It wants a smt file.

Any ideas?

Go to their website and follow their direction.
You have to download the 7Zip and install it on your computer. Then you have to install the USB program from their website. After that download the S67ME file, use the 7ZIP to unpack it.
After that connect your Smarty using a USB cable to your USB port on your computer, and then click on the USB program.

Before using SmartyUSB program to download the upgrade software, the USB driver has to be installed.
To do this, please follow these simple steps:

Unzip the driver files into a new folder

Plug Smarty in the USB port of your Microsoft Windows® based computer

Windows finds a new hardware and asks for the drivers. DO NOT allow Windows to install the
default driver. Suggest instead to Windows the folder with the files extracted from driver file as
Smarty driver

For further details please see the " Smarty USB driver installation guide" in the Documentation section
(Windows Vista automatically installs the correct driver)
