So ive been told that the black maxx will be coming out in july does anyone know if you have to tap any holes for the egt probe and the boost or is that all done by just plugging everything in

it should work just like the pmt if you still have your stock egt probs it will read it but if it has boost foolin intergrated into the exaust the your boost will give you a false reading. but to answer your question no you shouldnt unless you want a more accurate reading from preturbo

ok thanks where is the best place to put the egt prob and the boost prob im thinking where the egr delete plates are but im not sure?

my egt probe is in the manifold above the turbo ill post some pics for ya some time tomorrow if you would like what im goin to do about boost is put it in the egr delete that I ordered from chris has a boost port in it for the boost probe heres a pic of where the prob goes Name:  deerpics215.jpg

ok thanks bud thats a big help did you have to remove anything to drill or just drilled and tapped?

no removing any thing just drilled slowley and with lots of acculube drilled small holes slowly coming up to size then the guy doing it broke a tap in the manifold so slowly but sureley had to work it out after that it was plug in the pyro and go I had mine done at performance diesel in emory for 35 bucks worth it to me not to have to worry about it

ok thanks bud...their isnt any diesel performance shops around here but but i guess it cant be much harder then doing my 99 5.9
