Smarty/Edge stack. The Edge for the 6.7 can do some cool things to eliminate some of the EPA BS, where as the Smarty will give you more timing and power. Bob Wagner at Mads Electronics, makers of Smarty is the guy to talk to. Intake and exhaust are obvious, but a Clutch is a must!!!! Go with a good brand like South Bend or Valair. Go ahead and get a streetable Dual Disc, possible kevlar. But unless your throwing driveability out the window, keep it somewhat modest. Injectors would be a fun mod, but make sure your getting plenty of air to keep those EGTs low. There is a guy over at the Cummins forum that put custom twins on his 6.7 and is making great numbers. Smarty is phenominal, but doesnt have safety features like the Edge...but edge doesnt make power like smarty does either. Smarty also has the P.O.D. upgrade where you CAN tune on the fly, but again...be smart, because the smarty for the 5.9 is capable of over 200hp alone.

But ill read on the smarty to see whats so awesome about it other then dumping 170 horsepower straight on to your truck
The Smarty has 9 different tunes, so unless you just go overboard and run the hottest tune on an otherwise stock truck, you aren't going to blow anything up. That's the nice thing about so many options, is you can add more power as you add supporting mods to go with it. As long as you don't throw more at your truck than the rest of the drivetrain can handle, you shouldn't have any problems at all.

SW # 0 : Half power

SW # 1 : 30 Hp increase, with added timing

SW # 2 : 60 Hp increase, no added timing ***

SW # 3 : 60 Hp increase, with added timing

SW # 4 : 90 Hp increase, no added timing ***

SW # 5 : 90 Hp increase, with added timing

SW # 6 : 130 Hp increase, no added timing ***

SW # 7 : 130 Hp increase, with added timing

SW # 8 : 170 Hp increase, no added timing *** °°°

SW # 9 : 170 Hp increase, with added timing °°°
*** All even numbered softwares (2-4-6-8) without timing are to be used
for stacking with other after market power adding devices that also add
their own timing. NO additional timing has to be used with the odd
numbered softwares (1-3-5-7-9).
Severe engine damage will result !!!

Next you will need EGT & Boost gauges and a smarty. Trust Me the Smarty is the only way to go.
