Which DPF delete company?
Flogster: what is the web link to "gearboxz"? I am only looking to have my 6.7 run code free, I am very happy with the power as it is, totaly stock. I am 65 yo and retired and just want to tow my travel trailer with out getting ck eng light or other codes.
Seems to me that after you have removed the DPF you can extend the oil change interval if you wish. The problems are with clogging the DPF and thus giving you alot of back pressure. Causing A failure of whatever is weakest internally. Once it is gone then soot it up if ya like... Takes alot to choke A 4 or 5 inch pipe.

I wish it was that long.. I change mine every 5000KM. Which is every 3100 Miles. Up here my motor would be in pieces before I ever made 10KMiles. Save the poor thing and spend the 60 bucks to give it some help....
If we didn't have so many cold starts up here I am sure we could stretch it out.

i have a 2008 dodge 6.7 quadcab short box 3500 6 speed manual. i want to delete the dpf and possibly the egr. can anyone tell me where to start? how much will it cost me? and will i get any check engine lights? im currently getting 17 to 18 mpg average and 20+ on the highway, will i see an increase in mpg? the truck has 52000 miles but is out of warranty due to age. not worried about warranty. i live in central ny, can do alot of work myself as far as bull work but not to keen on electronics. is there any shops in this area that can do it? thanks everyone
