Did you install the shim kit as well? If so, how was it getting the air horn loose from the gasket?

Hey Brother, Chris who?

What company?

I know a Chris, but I don't know if it's the same company you are thinking of!

I'd hate to blow your kudos by saying the wrong company/person!!

He's referring to CBrahs on here. That's who I ordered mine from too.

That's good to know. I'm going to try and get around to installing mine this weekend. I was a bit hesitant to do it without having a gasket... just in case.

Jim,

just have a bottle of jack next to you and if you do tear the gasket, you can call Lucus up and tell him to come over and drive ya to the dealer to get one since you will be hittin the bottle! LOL

I'll have to substitute that bottle of Jack for a bottle of Patron. The last time I drank Jack, I did my impression of a 6.0 Ford's stock head gaskets at 50PSI of boost. Needless to say it wasn't fun.

I know that one all too well. That's why my drinking days are few and far between any more. The older I get, the more it hurts, and the longer it takes to feel normal again.
